Three Michelin stars at the Pula market

Jan Hartwig holds three Michelin stars at Restaurant Jan in Munich. In July 2024 he filmed in Istria for World's 50 Best Explores. He was looking for real street food.

He walked into our small place by the Pula market, ordered a pločica, sat down. Ate. Then ordered another.

"One of the top 3 street foods I've eaten in my life." — his words. They filmed us, wrote about us, Glas Istre ran the story, Plava Kamenica came to check after him. Since his visit, the line at Pločica hasn't dropped.

We changed nothing. Same pločice, same recipe, same grill. That may be the whole point.
